I’m Michael Williams, a Radiation Protection Technician with over 5 years in the nuclear industry and 2 years as a Senior RP Tech. I’ve worked at more than 15 nuclear outages across the country and spent 2 years in-house at the Monticello Nuclear Generating Plant.
This career has given me the rare freedom to work about 5 months a year—grossing around $120k—and take the other 7 months completely off. Before nuclear, I owned and operated a massage therapy business for 5 years until the COVID shutdowns forced a change in direction.
I built this course to help new people get into nuclear contracting—a field that’s not only stable and AI-resistant, but also growing fast as demand for power surges with the rise of AI data centers. Nuclear work offers strong pay and, just as importantly, time freedom most careers can’t match. I’m still learning every day myself, but I’ve created this course to pass along what I know to help you get in the door and take advantage of this opportunity.
